SAFEPACK VCI Anticorrosion Paper
SP-GALVWRAP-WF
Standard Construction: 70 gsm specially matured Kraft paper, one side
activated with 10-12 gsm of VCI chemicals (Volatile Corrosion Inhibitors
specially engineered for galvanized products ), laminated & reinforced with
waterproof woven fabric.
Features:
CORROSION is a destructive chemical process; most often it is the conversion of
a metal to its oxide, for example, the corrosion of iron by oxygen and water to
produce iron oxides (i.e., rust).
Safepack VCI paper carries a high load of specially engineered rust preventing
chemicals (VCI's). These chemicals further dis-associate into positively &
negatively charged ions and are adsorbed invisibly on the negatively &
positively charged areas of the metal surface respectively. It protects metals
strongly through direct contact as well as vapor action. The VCI's also protect
areas, which are difficult to reach like drilled holes, crevices, voids etc.
SP-GALVWRAP-WF is a strong wrap around for galvanized steel coils & sheets
to protect it from oxidation-white rust formation. It’s tight weave provides
strong constructions & enhances moisture barrier properties. It protects
specifically galvanized & ferrous metals, comprising ferro-alloys, iron & steel
in elevated humid atmospheric conditions. It gives extra protection in contact
application. VCI wrappers eliminate the use of messy polluting
oils/greases/coatings & instead provide simply WRAP > OPEN > USE method. This
simple environment loving method delights the end user as he can get rid off
washing, degreasing & cleaning .Not only this but overall this is economical and
the material is recyclable.
SP-GALVWRAP-WF is available upto 3000mm in width which attributes for seamless
non-tedious packaging.

Specially designed for over-wrapping of Galvanized Steel coils/sheets.

Galvanized steel and ferrous metals like mild steel, cast iron, etc
Packaging and storage conditions:
1. Store in a cool and dry place.
2. Wrapping of rolls in original packing
during storage is recommended.
3. Stable at normal storage conditions.
4. VCI paper should be kept away from
contaminants prior to usage.
5. Shelf life is minimum 2 years under
normal conditions of storage..
Method of Application:
Simply wrap the clean, dry metal parts in the paper. Also refer our note
guidelines for packaging department.

x 500mtr
