The Steel Success Strategies Europe Conference embraced a global
perspective; with a special focus on the regional issues most critical
to steel mills in Eastern and Western Europe, the CIS and the Middle
East. The organizers accomplished this task by assembling a group of
approximately 70 speaker-panelists made up of top industry leaders and
experts in their respective areas who shared their perspectives,
knowledge and insight on key issues.
Safepack
is a research oriented organization focused on Steel packaging having
state of the art plant and excellent R&D set up to study the known and
the unknown packaging requirements of the steel industry. This event
gave Safepack an opportunity to look at steel Industry at very micro
prospective and understand the issues haunting this Industry. This event
also gave the opportunity to Safepack technical team to interact with
the movers & Shakers of steel industry who are handling the day to day
matters and to shake hands with the people who don't mind taking their
sleeves up to clean the grease under a machine....
The
highlight of this event is that the top dignitaries like Mr. L.N. Mittal,

Chairman - Arcelor., Mr. Peter Marcus , Managing Partner - World Steel

Riva, CEO - Riva Group - Italy., Mr. Alexei Mordashov, General Director
- Severstal., & many other mentors of the
steel industry visited Safepack
stall and appreciated the efforts being taken
by Safepack towards the Steel
Industry.
This
event also contributed in enhancing Safepack's image as a customer
oriented organisation where we got the chance to interact with
the existing customers and serve them in other ways than the usual
business visits at their plant, which are more business & profit
centric...
At an
outset and from a layman's view one will look at this activity as
promotion for corrosion prevention products, which is the specialty of
Safepack. But from our point of view we were there to assist steel mills
to reduce losses not only due to corrosion but in many other ways which
are often neglected or ignored.
Lot of
the delegates were able to relate their experiences with studies of
Safepack because the fact that our studies are not based
on closed environment of the Lab., but
they are practical and based on continuous involvement not only in the
lab & shop floor but also visiting the facilities of the customers of
the Steel mills.
In the
end Safepack is proud to announce that it has succeeded in it's task of
imparting knowledge & educating people at steels mills to realize the
importance of "5th P" of marketing mix "PACKAGING".
