VCI Foam
SAFEPACK VCI FOAMs are specially engineered, powerful protectors of expensive and delicate electrical and electronic equipments, components, ferrous/non-ferrous parts and heavy machineries from corrosion and oxidation . The unique feature of this product is the high load of VCI chemicals and capability to absorb moisture, which makes it a very aggressive fighter against the menace of probable environmental deterioration. Due to high concentration of VCIs, it offers over 10 times more protection coverage than the traditional VCI papers and films, making it idle for large surface and long term protection. |

SAFEPACK VCI-FOAMs are designed to address all the above protection challenges. These Foams are flat PU Foam containing high load of Hi-tech Volatile Corrosion inhibiting chemicals. These chemicals have a property of sublimating & they deposit on metal surfaces forming a protective mono-ionic layer. This layer thus offers effective protection against oxidation & corrosion to ferrous & non-ferrous surfaces & hard to reach areas such as drill holes, crevices by making them inert to the action of corroding agents like humidity, moisture, salt etc.
SAFEPACK VCI FOAMs work well under any adverse conditions including contaminants in air such as hydrogen sulphide, sulphur dioxide, ammonia or acid rain.

METHOD OF USAGE :
- Ideally install before the process of corrosion / oxidation starts
- Ensure the surface to which it will adhere is clean & dry
- Remove the packing of the VCI Foam just before use
- Peel off the adhesive tape & affix (in case of Adhesive backed foam)
- Seal package well, though not necessarily air tight for maximum benefit
PACKAGING & STORAGE CONDITIONS :
- Store in a cool and dry place
- Stable at normal storage conditions
- Keep away from contaminants prior to usage
- Store in original packing for optimum benefits
