VCI Absorbent
SAFEPACK Condensed Water Absorber "Sorball" is a revolutionary new concept in the shipping of Engineering and Automobile products. Presence of water in liquid and vapor form in a package containing metals had always been an unpleasant subject. Conventional Absorbents/Desiccant partially addressed these problems only if it were used in a right way.
Safepack VCI Absorbent SORBALL is a special formulation which literally gulps the condensed water and protects the packages during critical exports transits.

Typical Properties
Application:
Sorball can be used where condensation takes place inside the packaging. Sachets should be placed at
strategic locations where moisture is likely to condense in water. This water will be absorbed by Sorball thus
preventing it from spreading. Thus protecting the package from damage due to water and corrosion.
E.g. Inside wooden box in which automobiles / engg. parts
are packed for exports SPRBALL sachets can be placed at the
base of the box at suitable locations where water is likely
to gather.

How it works
In the presence of water, the specially formulated Sorball packet quickly bursts open, releasing a super
absorbent polymer powder which quickly absorbs and immobilizes water. The resulting gelatinous material is
easily contained by an outer vessel, shipping container or some other such devices. Typically, Sorball acts as
an immobilizing agent to contain condensed water.
