SAFEPACK VCI Paper SP-M 90 PP is a 60 gsm specially matured Kraft paper with one side impregnated with high-tech multi-metal volatile corrosion inhibitors(VCIs) and the other side laminated with 29 micron BOPP.
It is designed to protect medium weight ferrous and non-ferrous parts such as iron and steel, castings, forgings, pressed components etc. having weight upto 8 kgs/18lbs, from corrosion and tarnishing during storage and transit when packed in polybags, boxes and cartons.
The BOPP lamination provides it high strength and a very good moisture barrier property. |

CORE ELEMENTS
SAFEPACK VCI paper SP-M 90 PP provides an extremely dry method of protection. It protects metals both through direct contact and vapour action. The high-tech VCI chemicals have a property of evaporating into the surrounding enclosure. The released vapour deposits on the metal surface and forms a protective mono-molecular layer which provides protection to the packed parts from corrosion. It thus enables effective and long-term protection of multimetal against corrosion under adverse conditions including contaminants in air such as hydrogen sulphide, sulphur dioxide, ammonia or acid rain. VCI vapours easily migrate to hard to reach areas like drilled holes, crevices etc. and give effective protection.

METHOD OF USAGE
Clean the parts to be protected from dirt, dust and other contaminants.
- Individual light and medium weight parts can be wrapped in VCI paper SP-M 90 PP.
- Can be used in the form of 2 dimensional pouches and 3 dimensional bags.
- Seal package well, though not necessarily air tight for maximum benefit.
- Can be used as a Liner inside corrugated boxes, cartons and plastic containers.
