The extensive range of release liners has been developed to meet the versatile needs of various release liner applications. Safepack offers release liner solutions based on a wide variety of paper and film substrates. We offer 1800 mm width seamless release liners which is first time in India.

Solvent base silicone compound coating and thermo heater curing method are used to optimize the release properties of the final product. 

The Base paper and silicone formulation are selected to give the required specific properties suitable to each intended individual applications. Our technical experts are at your door to select and develop the right solution to match your production processes and end-use requirements.

  SAFEPACK offers three types of release liners.

 

1. Polycoated Bleached/ Unbleached paper based release liner.
2. Direct Coated release Papers.
3. Direct Coated Safe-release Films.

  

1. POLYCOATED SAFE RELEASE LINERS.

 

Safepack polycoated safe-release brand products are in house extrusion coated and  siliconised release liners it offers

• Consistent release
• Dimensional Stability
• Lay flat
• Surface smoothness and
• Strength properties.

 

 Colour available: White and natural (Unbleached)

 Polymers Used: Lower Density Polyethylene [LDPE]

 Finishes: Glossy and Matte finish.

 Silicone Coatings: One side or two sided with solvent based solution.

 Gramages: 52-162 gsm

 Available with 1 side printing of opposite side of silicone coating or under PE coating.

Typical End use applications: Graphic Arts, Tapes and label stock Industries.

 

2. DIRECT COATED SAFE-RELEASE LINERS:

    Safepack direct coated safe release brand products are in house siliconed liners.

• Consistent release
• Printability
• Die-cuttability
• Suitable for high temp. conversion process
• Good compatibility with hot melt adhesive.
• High tear and tensile strength due to optimum fiber content and good formation
• No optical brighteners are used.

 

Colour available: Opaque white and natural [unbleached]

Grades Used: Machine Calendar Kraft papers, Super calendar Kraft papers, Clay coated or Latex-Saturated, Caliper controlled – Glassines & Release Base Tissue papers.

Silicone Coatings: One side or two sided with solvent based solution.

Grammages: 40-100 gsm.

Available with one side printing of opposite side of silicone coating

Typical End use applications: Graphic Arts, Tapes and label stock Industries.

  

3. DIRECT COATED SAFE-REELEASE FILMS:

Safe-release ranges of products are direct silicone coated PET and BOPP films with either one or two sided release. Silicone chemistry used is Solvent Base system.

Colour available: Opaque white and Transparent natural.

Grades Used: Polyester and Bopp films

Silicone Coatings: One side or two sided with solvent based solution.

Thickness: 18 micron to 125 microns. Available with one side printing on opposite side of silicone coating.
