SAFEPACK VCI Paper SP-FE x 90 is a 80 gsm extensible specially matured Kraft paper one side impregnated with high-tech volatile corrosion inhibitors(VCIs). It is designed to protect lightweight and medium weight ferrous parts such as iron and steel, castings, forgings, pressed components etc. having weight upto 4kgs/9lbs, from corrosion during storage and transit when packed in polybags, boxes and cartons. It’s extensible property makes it ideal for twist-wrapping the packaging of the component and it also has better tear resistance compared to normal Kraft Paper.

SAFEPACK VCI Paper SP-FE x 90 provides an extremely dry method of protection. It protects bare metals both through direct contact and vapor action. The high-tech VCI chemicals have a property of evaporating into the surrounding enclosure. The released vapor deposits on the metal surface and forms a protective mono-ionic layer, which provides protection to the packed parts from corrosion. It thus enables effective and long-term protection of ferrous metals against corrosion in most probable adverse conditions including contaminants in air such as hydrogen sulphide, sulphur dioxide, ammonia or acid rain. VCI vapors easily migrate to hard to reach areas like drilled holes; crevices etc. and give effective protection.

METHOD OF USAGE
Clean the parts to be protected from dirt, dust and other contaminants.
- Individual light and medium weight parts can be wrapped in VCI paper SP-FE x 90.
- It can be used as an insert inside a polybag in which spare parts/components are packed.
- Seal package well, though not necessarily air tight for maximum benefit.

- Store in a cool and dry place
