Safepack barrier coatings add value to corrugated and solid board by protecting the content of boxes from humidity, grease and mechanical stress. It improves the compression and stacking strength and increases stiffness and dimensional stability of box.
The thickness of the barrier layer controls the effectiveness of the moisture and vapour barrier, whilst the PE surface offers optimal protection against moisture, dirt etc.

Barrier liners for fish transport use a substitute PET/PE/Paper construction to ensure good moisture resistance and release properties.
Our Board laminated structures with special metallised and holographic polymer films are also available, providing a superior packaging appearance which is converted into printed folding boxes used in the packaging of food and non-food products.
These barrier liners can be supplied in unbleached/ bleached range, either virgin grade to give good strength & stiffness or recycled based offering good cost savings versus virgin material.
